Based at Port Kembla, this role will assist in maintaining the health, safety and environment systems that are set up in compliance with our work safe NSW framework. This role will actively support, implement, and participate in the company Risk Management Programme and assist in the monitoring and maintaining of sites reporting requirements.
We are seeking an individual with a 'do-er' attitude and HSE knowledge to assist in the development and implementation of initiatives to reduce incidents and manage workplace safety.
Reporting to the Compliance and HSE Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
Support HSE management reviews and management of change activities, as required.
Support business leaders in coordinating HSE activities at the site level.
Prepare and review HSE documentation with the input of business site leaders
Maintain the HSE document library
Be engaged in the fulfilment of the Toll HSE strategic plan and assist site management in facilitating HSE consultation processes.
Coordinating monthly OHS Meetings through the preparation of minutes and meeting actions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Tertiary/TAFE OH&S or related qualification in OH&S or working towards
, desirable
Intermediate level Microsoft Office suite knowledge
Customer focused (internal & external)
Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others.
High organisational skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral
