Due to internal growth within our Human Resources Department, we are now seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join the team based at our manufacturing facility in Bundaberg.

About the Role
Reporting to the National Human Resources Manager (also based in Bundaberg) you will be responsible for operational Human Resources activities for our Bundaberg site as well as assisting the National Manager with activities that support our Head Office (located in Brisbane) and our Service Centres located across Australia and New Zealand. Duties include:
- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding & offboarding processes
- Supporting leadership team with employee relations, performance and disciplinary matters
- Undertaking workplace investigations
- Administering training requirements including scheduling, inviting participants and recording attendance and results
- Coordinating employment engagement activities
- Coordinating Superior Pak apprenticeship program (approximately 25 apprentices onsite)
- Fostering strong communication with Payroll to ensure smooth processes
- Being the go-to person for general HR related queries

About You
- Demonstrated relevant HR generalist experience (HR qualifications desirable)
- Sound knowledge of the employee lifecycle and HR/IR legislation
- Strong relationship management skills
- A high level of emotional intelligence
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms
