Medical Receptionist

About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized, enthusiastic administration professional with a passion for delivering outstanding patient-centric service to join their supportive and dedicated team at their head office in South Brisbane. This is a full-time position with the option of a 9 day fortnight for the right candidate. 

Responsibilities:
- Manage general reception and administrative duties
- Handle internal and external enquiries
- Prepare theatre quotes, send theatre lists, co-ordinate trauma bookings, schedule appointments, billing and banking duties
- Operate the switchboard
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Monitor incoming patient emails and correspondence

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in specialist medical reception
- Experience with Genie
- Professional phone manner 
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams)
- Knowledge of WorkCover, Medicare, DVA, and Private Health Fund billing
