About Hillcrest Health Centre
Hillcrest Health Centre is long established bulk billing general practice serving proudly for more than 25 years. We have on-site secured parking for staff and patients and quite close to public transport. We are a busy practice seeing a high number of patients daily. The nature of our patient demographic is broad.
Our opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 7pm, and Saturday 9am – 4pm. Shifts available are morning and afternoon shifts, including Saturday.
We are looking for experienced Part-Time and Casual candidates. Please mention your availability/preferred hours when applying. The successful applicant's primary duties will be front reception therefore caring approach towards patient is required.
Requirements:
- Medical receptionist experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously;
- Strong communication skills;
- Billing & process patient accounts;
- Ability to multi-task – Attend to patient enquiries, respond to emails, faxing, scanning, book appointments;
- General administrative duties as required;
- Administrative support to the team & practice manager;
- Working knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS and Private Health Insurance billings;
- Experience of Pracsoft and Medical Director and Best Practice is preferable but not essential;
- Knowledge of medical terminology, and medical Billing is desired.
- Ability to handle a high-pressure environment and adhering to privacy and confidentiality in a health care setting is a required.
