Responsibilities include
- Efficiently managing clinics
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice
- Coordinating all bookings and managing appointments including theatre.
- Liaising with patients, hospital staff, anaesthetists, referrers and insurers for Workcover patients
- Providing surgery estimates
- Creating and maintaining patient records in “Genie” including linking referrals, x-rays, diagnostic reports and other related information with a high level of accuracy
- Processing patient billing using Eclipse
- Providing end-to-end administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
- Medical Audio Typing
- Reception and other support duties where required
- Demonstrated previous experience as a Medical Receptionist/Secretary (at least 1 year)
- Strong working knowledge of Genie software
- Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and professionally, whilst also being supportive within a team environment
- Intermediate Windows and Apple Mac skills (we aim to be a paperless clinic)
- High level communication skills with a professional, friendly, positive and helpful attitude
- Good problem-solving, organisational skills and attention to detail
- Moderate to fast audio-typing skills, accuracy is essential
