Aerzen is a world leading manufacturer of mechanical rotating equipment including blowers, screw compressors and systems. Aerzen Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of a German parent, provides full sales and service support for the Australia, New Zealand and surrounding regions. We are looking for experienced sales management specialist with experience in industries such as Water/Wastewater, Cement, Food, Oil & Gas and Mineral Processing, to continue to grow build the business.
This position is based on Dandenong, Victoria and will have direct responsibility for Sales and GP, and management of the sales team. Managing and developing the sales and product management team, to meet and exceed company objectives
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs, driving sales growth, and managing and developing the sales team.
Principal Accountabilities
- Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue objectives. Leading, mentoring, and motivating sales professionals across the territory to exceed KPIs and Objectives.
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to propose enhancement strategies.
- Direct sales responsibility for a territory / customer group.
- Promoting a safety culture and driving continuous improvement
- Development and implementing marketing strategies for the business in line with regional targets.
- Generate and analyze sales data, providing regular reports to management.
- Deliver product training and support to team members as needed.
Skills and job requirements:
- Demonstrated success in sales management and leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of Sales processes and demonstrated experienced in value / solution selling.
- People management and leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach and engage your team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Expertise in budget management, forecasting, and strong analytical abilities.
- Proficient in machinery products/services with comprehensive customer and market knowledge.
- Experience in Salesforce CRM
- Commitment to promoting a safety culture and driving continuous improvement.
- Interstate and overseas travel will be required to meet company sales objectives.
- Must hold full permanent working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident) at the time of application
