About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Operations Coordinator is to support our National Operations with maintenance, management and coordination of personnel availability and readiness in conjunction with client requirements. In addition the Operations Coordinator will provide administration and logistics support and maintain resources scheduling, licensing and compliance requirements.
Other Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage, maintain and update the MA roster timetable in accordance with both staff and client requirements
- Developing and maintaining a cost-effective roster within a dedicated portfolio of clients
- Ensure that rostering adheres to all applicable compliance regulations and applicable legislations
- Escalation of operational issues & incidents, including report writing.
- Coordination of after-hours static guarding services.
- Data entry of information into propriety operating systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients & different internal departments
- Identify risks and deliverables and manage these effectively
- Provide timely analysis and reporting to support the Operations Manager and National Operations Centre
- Reconciliation and reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis
- Uphold OH&S policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for employees, contractors and visitors;
- Other duties as requested.

Skills & Experience
To be considered for placement you will need to have the following skills/traits:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar within the Security Industry
- Ability to work on a rotating roster with work being performed in the evening, night and weekends.
- Experience in a high-volume call/Operations Centre environment would be highly desirable.
- Demonstrable computer literacy skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills, including high levels of customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong written communication skills, including incident report writing.
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously in high paced team environment
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to think laterally and solve problems
- Possessing a professional and courteous phone manner
