IMC are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team at Head Office in Bayswater. The role will be to work with a payroll of 400+ regular workforce for end-to-end payroll management.

- Process end-to-end payroll including leave management, overtime (when applicable) and superannuation.
- Apply Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretations to employees’ conditions to employment
- Process and input all payroll data into the company’s accounting systems
- Ensure all superannuation liabilities are paid by the due date
- Respond to staff wage and salary queries
- Provide any payroll reports as required.
- Preparation of superannuation statements.
- Prepare PAYG, monthly payroll tax return, and other tax payments for remittance to the ATO and other government departments.
- Undertake annual reconciliation of wages (PAYG and Payroll Tax)
- Process, maintain and report on My Leave long service leave accruals and child support payments
- Process payroll journals fortnightly and reconcile payroll accounts on balance sheet
- Point of contact for payroll enquiries
- Previous use of PRONTO (highly regarded) and/or other Payroll systems are required for this role
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Packages - particularly Excel Required
