Working closely across multiple entities, including the payroll for Australia, NZ & Vietnam you will be responsible for the complete ownership and running of the payroll and working with really closely with the outsourced Payroll provider - ADP, as well as assistance with month-end accounting and bookkeeping processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate payroll processing system and records, by collating, checking, calculating, and preparing payroll input data, such as joiners, leavers, and existing employee changes, ensuring accuracy, validity of supporting documentation, and compliance with authorisation procedures
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between HRM system, timesheet system and internal payroll reports in a timely manner
- Manage all payroll related queries, proactively resolving them or escalating when necessary
- Prepare and finalise payroll reports ready for submission and approval for payment
- Work collaboratively with HR and payroll provider in processing accurate absence within the required timeframe
- Assist with month-end accounting and bookkeeping processes such as calculation of employee related leave balances and maintenance of clearing accounts, maintaining prepayments schedule, and posting required journal entries
