The Principal Governance Advisor is a key role to assure implementation and maintenance of all Corporate Governance activities within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). Access theThe RoleAn opportunity has become available for a Principal Governance Advisor to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You will

• Establish consultative relationships to supply advice on all aspects of corporate governance functions, risk management, compliance, control design and assessments
• Supply expert advice and recommendations on all Corporate Governance issues, systems, and processes
• Embed governance standards for integrating risk, compliance and policy obligations into existing practices and procedures
• Develop and implement mechanisms to ensure proper oversight, monitoring and recording of compliance with legislative requirements
• Establish and keep collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and external partners

About youTo be successful in this position you will require:

• While not mandatory, knowledge of Industry Standards; ISO 19600:2015 Compliance Management System and AS ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management Standards would be well regarded
• While not mandatory, Project Management qualification would be well regarded
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

• Temporary full time (up to 8 months)
• Base salary ranging from $5 062.30 - $5 432.80 per fortnight
