About the Role:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Project Administrator to join our Meadowbrook Branch. This role suits an ambitious and adaptable individual with a high-level of administrative skills. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a national industry leading company to oversee general administrative duties for the projects team. You must have unlimited working rights in Australia to apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and professional service whilst coordinating a variety of project related and general administration tasks
- Collaborate with co-workers to deliver appropriate support to the operations team
- Work closely with site representatives and the recruitment team to offer a seamless on-boarding and mobilisation process to our employees
- Contribute to the timely completion of tender documentation
- Coordinate and administer meetings with internal stakeholders and external contractors including setting agendas, recording minutes, chasing action items and distributing meeting minutes to stakeholders
- Assist with booking of branch and personnel training, medicals and travel requirements
- Create and issue all purchase orders relevant to project undertakings ensuring they are ready for payment
- Review, record and maintain labour hours and costs incurred for all contracts for employees and hire
- Monitor and maintain the Projects Manning register including gathering fate and reports as requested by clients
Key Competencies:
Essential:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Exceptional organisation and planning skills with strong adherence to deadlines
- Patient, flexible and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances
- Great problem-solving and the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised or with limited direction
- A high level of discretion and professionalism to act with integrity and always maintain confidentiality
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
Desirable:
- Experience in Rental, Mining or Construction Industries (or similar)
- Certificate III Business Administration (or similar)
