Mitcon is seeking a progressive, dynamic and hard-working individual who is passionate about the construction industry and keen to learn. 

To take advantage of this opportunity it is essential that you are studying or have recently graduated with a Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Built Environment.

You will be provided direct training, to allow you to develop within your career.

You will work closely with our operations team where you will be involved in the design, costing, preparation and submission of tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the management and delivery of projects within time and budget.
• Procuring, ordering and monitoring of construction materials
• Undertake quality checks and site audits ensuring building works are to code
• Reading and interpreting plans and technical specifications
• Perform quantity take-offs and estimating including preparation of quotations
• Updating project documentation as required
• On-boarding and assisting with WHS compliance
• Liaising with clients and external consultants 
• Collaborate with team to produce tender documentation

Skills Required: 

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand both structural and architectural drawings
• Can create & use spreadsheets proficiently
• High level of proficiency in the use of various software systems
• Have effective time management and prioritisation skills with a focus on attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take instruction
• Relevant practical experience beneficial but not required
