Your new role
In this fully remote role, you will:
Coordinate responses to the National Redress Scheme, focusing on individuals who were wards of the State or in youth detention.
Research, analyse, and provide advice regarding the Department's participation in the Redress Scheme.
Liaise with various department portfolios and external agencies for effective information management.
Manage project work and prepare high-level documents for senior management.
Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed, in line with your expertise and qualifications.
What you'll need to succeed
Your success in this role will be driven by:
Knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about relevant legislation and practices, particularly pertaining to the National Redress Scheme.
Strong project management skills, capable of independent operation and priority management.
Outstanding communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and confidentiality in your professional conduct.
Sensitivity and understanding of the issues surrounding sexual abuse and its impacts.
