Superior Pak has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Officer/Storeperson to join the team in our CANETEC division. CANETEC specialises in machining of spare parts, gear cutting, manufacturing and assembly of hub components. With our ‘made to order’ manufacturing process we can modify our standard specifications to meet our customer needs - meaning no two days are the same.
About the Role
The Purchasing Officer/Storeperson role is split between both the office when undertaking purchasing duties and in the warehouse when undertaking stores duties. Duties include:
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers and raising purchase orders
- Loading and unloading containers/vehicles
- Unpacking goods, checking for discrepancies between goods received with shipping documents
- Receipting of goods against purchase order
- Processing inward and outward goods in a timely manner
- Picking, packing and dispatch of materials for the production line
- Picking up and delivering goods as directed
- Completing stocktakes
- Maintaining an excellent standard of housekeeping
- Completing all records and paperwork accurately

About You
The successful candidates will have:
- Current Drivers Licence & Forklift Licence (essential)
- Sound computer skills with previous purchasing experience
- Ability to analyse & problem solve
- Good communication skills

- Willingness to undertake physical labour
