About Us: Established in 2005 to represent the native title rights for the Ngarluma people, Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) has grown into one of the largest Aboriginal organisations in the Pilbara region of WA.
NAC is the signatory of multiple Land Use Agreements with Rio Tinto and Woodside which provide important benefits to the Ngarluma members.

Role Overview: As the Receptionist at Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and stakeholders. Your role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, managing inquiries, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate would be a Ngarluma member and possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the members of the Ngarluma community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Provide information about Ngarluma Aboriginal Corporation's programs, services, and events.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to supporting Aboriginal communities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
