G.J. Gardner Homes Bendigo is seeking a Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly and collaborative team based in our new state-of-the-art office in Kennington. The Receptionist/Administrator is an important member of the team dealing with all of the administrative aspects of our customers’ home building journeys, from customer service correspondence, reception, liaising with local authorities for approvals and working with our suppliers and subcontractors. Key Accountabilities:
During preconstruction:
- Manage submissions to external groups (such as building certifiers, engineers and council applications)
- Promptly follow up with stakeholders to keep the process moving forward
During construction:
- Chase and collate construction certificates from suppliers and subcontractors
- Progress submissions with the building certifiers
- Issue variations and other documents to clients
General
- Front desk reception
- Assisting others with general office tasks
- Maintain the office to be a great warm welcoming environment.
Key Experience/Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar receptionist or administration role is highly desired
- High attention to detail with excellent phone and email manner
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively
- Positive and upbeat personality who enjoys collaborating within a small team
- Excellent presentation skills, ensuring clients “Feel the Joy” building with us
- A can-do attitude
- A reliable, resourceful, self-starter
