Receptionist/StudentService
ILSC & Greystone College Melbourne seeks an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive team at our Melbourne CBD campus, in a varied and challenging role.
This position is for an immediate opening.
The Receptionists are responsible for student services/reception department as follows:
- Acting as the face for the school and greeting students, staff and visitors
- Answering the phone, transferring calls and taking messages
- Helping students/visitors with questions, issues and concerns
- Preparing student orientation and intake documents
- Managing textbook inventory
- Updating school’s academic management system (Moodle and school database)
- Helping students with questions and problems and/or leading them to the correct department
- Petty Cash management
- Printing ID cards, certificates and letters of completion
- Digitizing & filing student academic documents (passports, visas etc)
- Updating PRISMS site with student information
- Assisting the director & academic directors with assigned tasks
- Ordering and managing stationary and school supplies
- Doing coffee and/or snack runs for guests
- Ensuring the reception desk is clean, neat and tidy and free from clutter
- Ensuring the school is neat and tidy
- Attending general staff and team meetings and training sessions as assigned

Essential Selection Criteria:
- Experience working in an international college and/or school
- Demonstrated customer service skill and experiences
- Outstanding organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent technical skills (database, LMS, excel, email etc)
- A passion for education and sensitivity to the cultural and language issues facing our overseas students
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
Work Hours:
Full Time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm.
