Job Description Summary The key objective of this position is to support the Energy Queensland Meter Reading Management Team. The position will perform recruitment, interview and training operations as well as administration duties to ensure we effectively engage an effective meter reading workforce.

The key objective of this position is to support the Energy Queensland Meter Reading Management Team. The position will perform induction and training activities to ensure we effectively and efficiently deliver an exceptional outcome to our client.

- Perform resume screening and Interviews for all new employees
- Perform Induction for all new employees for the role they have been engaged in
- Ensure that all new employees are trained and assessed for the role they have been engaged for
- Prepare and maintain all relevant Induction packs and related material.
- Guide and manage applicants through the process to ensure a positive experience.
- Liaise with various HR and recruitment personnel within the Service Stream group to ensure best practice methods are always followed
- Maintain efficient systems and processes
- Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in helping operational staff to meet the daily and weekly KPI’s targets
- Assist with any other duties as directed by the Office Manager or Contract Manager
- Minimum 12 months experience in an office environment is essential.
- Strong rapport building skills including exceptional questioning and listening skills
- Tactful and discrete when dealing with people
- Flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and projects to meet deadlines
- Team player whilst being able to work autonomously
- Positive, proactive professional approach and willingness to ‘own the job’ until completion
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
