PJ WALSH Concrete & Civil are a locally owned and operated Townsville company seeking an all-rounder Administrative Assistant at our office in Mount St John.
This is a permanent part time role of 15-20 hours per week, flexibility with days and times.
This role may involve:
- Maintaining Construction Data: Ensuring all software, systems, data, and schedules are regularly updated and maintained.
- Procurement Support: Assisting in procurement processes, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
- Administrative Support: Providing general administrative support to the team, filing of paperwork, checking emails, arranging maintenance for plant and equipment, recording of completed pre-start dockets, updating Fleet Repair Schedule, documenting reported issues with vehicles.
- Accounts: provide support and backup when required in accounts payable data entry and payroll, experience in MYOB or XERO preferred
Requirements
- Must have prior extensive experience in administration support
- Mature and confident demeanour
- Intermediate skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions closely, and have solid organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships, work as a team and treat others with respect.
- Good time management skills and a flexible approach to your workday are essential - the ability to engage in several projects, manage various responsibilities, and switch between tasks at short notice is a MUST.
