About the role
This is a unique proposition for an experienced individual to gain exposure to the operations of a CEO’s office for a nationally recognised organisation. The position will see you play a vital role in supporting the CEO’s office by providing administrative support to the EA of the CEO and senior executives across the organisation. This position will enable you to gain skills within a corporate team and develop relationships with likeminded professionals within the energy industry.
What you will be doing
You will be responsible for assisting the EA of the CEO with a wide range of administrative tasks including:
• Coordination of Executive Leadership Team meetings, events, and ad hoc projects on behalf of the CEO office, including AEMO’s annual all staff engagement event
• Preparation and collation of CEO meeting briefs and confidential materials, as well as the electronic filing of various types of correspondence.
• Expense reconciliation.
• Consult with internal stakeholders and government teams.
• Provide backup EA support to Executive General Managers
What you will bring to the role
• Demonstrated administration experience within a corporate environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior executives.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications.
• A high degree of discretion and proven experience in dealing with confidential materials.
