Holmesglen Private Hospital is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Hospital's Rehabilitation Clinic as an Administration Officer part time. The successful applicant will be highly motivated, committed to a high standard of customer focused care, excellent time management and organisational skills. Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services
As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Billing and Receipting/Medicare rebate
- Maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with Doctors and staff from different departments
- Patient admission and discharges
- Manage a busy reception desk
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
Essential Criteria:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Medical administration or medical reception experience desired
- Experience with Medical Software i.e. WebPAS.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
