Qualifications & experience
- Sound maths knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with Accounting Software is desirable (Xero, Quickbooks etc.)
- Good communication skills. Be able to work efficiently and meet deadlines as well as being methodical and have an eye for accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, learn and adapt to the needs of the team.
- Strong organisational skills, be proactive.
- Trustworthy
- Must be available to to cover leave on a full time basis and from time to time. Availability to work more hours through busy periods.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Reception duties including answering phones.
- General office duties including filing and data entry.
- Payroll
- Invoicing
- Bill payments
- Daily reporting of timesheet using Excel and data entry into Track (training will be provided).
- Procuring and purchasing materials.
- Preparation of quotes.
- Reporting to ATO - PayG & Payroll Tax, Protect, CoInvest and Superannuation.
- General Bookkeeping (Xero).
