An engineering consultancy company has an immediate requirement for an Administrative Assistant to work in a medium sized office environment, in a part-time capacity working 16 hours per week Tuesday & Wednesday. Your workplace would be located at our head office in Moonee Ponds working with our Office Manager.
The successful candidate must be very reliable, work well under pressure, display excellent time-management and prioritising skills as well as having an eye for detail. They should display the ability to multi-task and in conjunction; demonstrate a high level of accuracy in completion of all tasks. Excellent communication skills internally and externally are very important.
Essential to this role is an understanding of invoicing and payroll, and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
This role is very diverse and demanding. Tasks include:
- Providing administrative and clerical support to Management Team and Lead Engineers where required;
- Preparing invoices
- Leading an office culture;
- Managing documentation;
- Attending to ad-hoc office requirements including answering phones, taking deliveries from couriers, minor purchasing activities, orgnaising the office and other duties as assigned;
