A leading healthcare provider dedicated to serving the Aboriginal community with comprehensive medical services is seeking a high-level administrator to support the Executive Team. Our client's mission is to improve the health and well-being of Aboriginal people through culturally appropriate care, community engagement, and advocacy.We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Administrator to provide essential support to the CEO. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of executive functions and facilitating effective communication between the CEO, management team, staff, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the CEO, managing their schedule, appointments, and correspondence.
- Coordinate and organise meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documents for internal and external distribution.
- Conduct research, gather data, and provide analytical support to assist the CEO in decision-making processes.
- Manage travel arrangements and accommodations for the CEO and other executive staff as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or administrator, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit organization.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Proficiency in office software and applications, including Microsoft Office suite and email management tools.
- Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and sensitivity to the needs of Aboriginal communities is essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
