An exciting opportunity has become available which sees us looking for a highly motivatedBusiness Development Manager to focus on building new business for Victoria. We are seeking a highly flexible and motivated individual to focus on SME businesses and growing the business of our local Franchise Partners. This will require a hands-on approach to visit sites with our franchise partners to qualify and seek new business opportunities.
The role is supported by a national team and comes with an incentive scheme and a generous base salary for someone looking to grow their career. This role will report to the Sales Manager and will have the support of the State Manager.
About the Role
The successful applicant will largely be self-sufficient and motivated in pursuing the new business needs for our VIC based business. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Utilising Franchise Partners and your network to create new business leads and pursuing new business.
- Developing opportunities to cross-sell products to existing and new customers.
- Tender writing and submissions.
- Maintaining an accurate and ongoing sales pipeline.
- Implementation of new Business Development initiatives.
- Developing and leveraging the company's branding and professional profile.
- Forging and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts in existing and new accounts.
About you
- You will have previous experience in a Sales role (industry experience an advantage);
- You will have a passion to achieve results and will be able to take a hands-on approach to effectively, build new business, qualify leads, and show flexibility in approach;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- An ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders;
- Self-motivation, with driven mindset, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
