About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be instrumental in driving new business acquisitions and identifying opportunities for cross-selling. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Courier Franchisees and utilizing your network to generate new business leads.
- Identifying opportunities to maximize freight volume with both existing and new customers.
- Maintaining a robust and accurate sales pipeline.
- Implementing new Business Development initiatives to fuel growth.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with key contacts in both existing and new accounts.
About You
- Previous experience in a sales role (industry experience is advantageous).
- A drive for achieving results and a hands-on approach to building new business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Self-motivation, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience using CRM systems.
