Your new company
My client is a nationwide Renewable Energy company that specialises in the development and construction of large scale solar and battery storage projects. They have offices around the country and are going through immense growth at the moment at a pivotal time in our country's energy transition. Their main focus right now is the QLD market, where they see amazing growth potential going forwards. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in that growth while being supported by some of the top industry professionals in the country.
Your new role
As the Business Development Manager for this exciting Renewable Energy company, you will be responsible for liaising with landowners in rural areas of QLD, to acquire leasing agreements to build Renewable Energy projects on. This is a full remote role with the unique opportunity to work from the comfort of home. When not working in your home office, you will be on the road meeting landowners in rural QLD building relationships and negotiating long-term land agreements. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive commission structure based purely on your individual performance.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years experience in a Business Development/sales role
- Excellent communication skills and rapport-building ability
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Knowledge of the Renewable Energy industry would be beneficial.
- Experience in a cold calling sales background
