SalarySamford Valley Steiner School is seeking an experienced and energetic Economic Development Manager. The EDM holds an important role in the school’s administrative structure and is a member of the senior leadership team. This role was re-imagined from the traditional School Business Manager role, to align more closely with the school’s core vision to strive towards social renewal. An understanding of or interest in the ideas of Rudolf Steiner, particularly in relation to money and social renewal is of importance to the Economic Development Manager role. The role requires strength and experience in strategic, financial, resourcing and systems development to support the growth of the school, whilst staying true to the cultural context.
The successful applicant will inspire and guide a growing administrative team and be responsible for the leadership and daily oversight of all business, accounting and financial functions of the school including but not limited to: budgets; financial reporting; human resources administration; payroll and debtors; financial compliance; assets, site maintenance and building projects; ICT and WHS.
