About the role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing ANZ, the Events Manager role will act as the key owner of the Event strategy and execution for all Dometic events, shows and conference activities across Australia and New Zealand.
Aligned with the global brand strategy and the ANZ segment marketing plan, you will engage with all Dometic divisions and acquired brands with core responsibility of event management and planning, including the coordination and execution of all events end-to-end with consumer in mind.
This role will be considered as the point of call for all event related marketing activity within the ANZ region, including, but not limited to; ownership of event strategy and execution, event planning, creative inputs, budgets, multi-brand long-term calendar, event branding and more.
Another key aspect will be project management and collaboration with the Marketing, Sales and Product teams to deliver key marketing campaigns, brand initiatives and or related activities.
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day event communication and management internally and externally, vendor briefing and liaising, relationship building with key industry partners and affiliate agencies.
Regular reporting on events, key performance metrics, including budget adherence, financial expenditure, new consumer database acquisition, sales results and return on investment.
The role will also manage all branding and event stock locations across Dometic ANZ warehouses, including regular stocktake, point of sales management, new product launch material and event branding asset management.
Your skillset includes:
- A minimum of 3-5 years working in an Events Manager role or similar
- Ability to plan well in advance, communicate plans and commit to timelines
- High level understanding of events, event management, communication, and relevant project management software systems
- Passion for the outdoors lifestyle and activities, action sports or similar
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders – both internal and external
- Ability to research and develop innovative event or display solutions for a wide range of mediums, brand stands, point of sale, instore displays and custom branding
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication, written and verbal skills
