Finance Assistant

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance? We're looking for a degree-qualified Finance Assistant eager to enhance their skills in month-end support responsibilities. Reporting to the Finance Manager QLD/PNG, this role, based in our Rocklea office, offers an opportunity for growth in a dynamic finance environment at an organization dedicated to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist with monthly cost review and reconciliation of balance sheets.
• Aid in the interpretation and analysis of financial statements.
• Manage day-to-day transactional data entry.
• Support all internal and external audits as required.
• Contribute to the development of strategies and guidelines enhancing understanding and implementation of financial best practices.
• Provide assistance to other team members in implementing finance procedures.
• Handle phone inquiries from customers on general finance-related queries.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Progress towards CA/CPA qualification.
• SAP experience would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
