The Company:

You will be in good company when you join this long-standing provider of specialist services to the building sector.  With a reputation for delivering quality advice on-time, every-time, their work is associated nationally with some of our most iconic buildings and infrastructure. 

Your Role:

This is a newly created position where you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the office whilst also working with the Business Manager on a range of HR related activities to facilitate the well-being and productivity of the team.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating meeting rooms & company calendars
  • Ordering supplies and ensuring office equipment is maintained
  • Organising team events
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Ensuring HR & WHS policies are up to date and being followed
  • Updating & issuing employee contracts; onboarding of employees
  • Working with the Business Manager to update job descriptions; implement KPI's; organise and participate in staff performance reviews
  • Manage all leave applications and time sheets
  • Provide admin support as required to the Directors

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Well-developed administrative skills and previous office management experience 
  • Exposure to HR related activities and WHS 
  • Strong organisation skills; attention to detail; and initiative
  • Proficiency in Ms Word & Excel; some knowledge of MYOB an advantage
  • Driver licence essential
