An exciting opportunityWe are on the lookout for a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to join the team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our project team by ensuring all administrative tasks are handled efficiently so that our projects run smoothly and exceed our clients’ expectations.
The core components of the role are:
- Provide administrative support throughout the project planning and installation process.
- Manage and control the flow of documents such as contracts, drawing and variations between the business, clients and suppliers.
- Ensuring project filing is up to date including document control.
- Input and track financial information into budget spreadsheets to assist with financial reporting.
- Assist with scheduling, planning, procurement and making travel arrangements.
- Assist in coordinating logistics and tracking of equipment and materials to site.
- Assist the Project Managers in liaising with clients and suppliers.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that project goals and timelines are met.
- Take initiative to make a difference, increase efficiency in the business and ensure that your role is freeing up the Project Manager's time.
What we need you to bring:
- Experience working in a similar role within the building and construction industry.
- Understanding of processes and language in the building and construction industry.
- Able to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working autonomously, utilising strong initiative, as well as being part of a team.
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and see tasks through to completion.
- Self-motivated, proactive, enjoy a challenge.
- An ability to be efficient and reliable.
- Strong Microsoft office skills
