Reporting to the Head of Industrial RelationsStrategy & Advice, you will join the Industrial RelationsStrategy & Advice team within the Westpac Group's Human Resource Division. You will contribute to developing and implementing Westpac Group's Industrial Relations strategy. As a trusted advisor to the HR team, and senior business leaders you will act as a subject matter expert on a wide range of Industrial Relations matters. This will include:
Strategy & Execution
- Develop an understanding of Westpac Group's Strategies and contribute to the Industrial Relations Strategy.
- Deliver initiatives aligned to the Industrial Relations strategy and other programs within committed milestones.
- Partner with other individuals, teams and functions to deliver a range of initiatives.
- Develop relationships with Finance Sector Union officials to manage matters.
- Contribute to the management of Industrial Relations owned policies and content.
- Provide specialist advice to stakeholders on a wide range of Industrial Relations matters including industrial instruments, industrial disputes, Industrial Relations risks, major workplace change and FSU enquiries.
- Provide Industrial Relations support for strategic enterprise initiatives as required.
- Establish productive working relationships to manage Industrial Relations risks, issues and matters.

What do I need?
You will have 5-8 years of experience in Industrial Relations or a related field within Professional, Consulting, Legal or Financial Services environment, with HR experience desirable. You will demonstrate experience working collaboratively with employee organisations to deliver shared outcomes and delivering strategic priorities across large and complex enterprises. With an ability to interpret and provide advice on policies and industrial instruments, you will thrive in an agile and fast paced work environment. An Excellent communicator, you will be someone who build effective working relationships and assimilate information quickly.
