Tasks & responsibilities
- Answering phones and patient enquiries
- Support medical secretaries in administration and reception role
- Schedule appointments for consults, operating theatre and post-op
- Liaising with patients, hospital staff, anaesthetists, referrers
- Patient invoicing, receipting and reconciliation
- Providing patients with estimates as required
- Creating and maintaining patient records in ‘Genie’ including linking referrals, X-rays, diagnostic reports and other related information to individual patients with a high level of accuracy
- Data entry for all patient consultations to assist the team and the practice

About you:
- We prefer a minimum of 12 month's experience in a medical practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships
- Empathetic and kind nature

- Exemplary time management and organisational skills
- Ability to anticipate secretaries and surgeon's needs and plan ahead
- Positive and personable attitude with a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with a booking management system, preferably Genie
