Our Technology department is seeking its next Technology Planner!
The Planner is accountable for creating and maintaining the short-term plan and forecast for multiple customers and sites that are serviced by Technology Service Operations. The role is essential in ensuring that the short term forecast for strategic and market driven work load is communicated to the operational team, planned within resource capability and capacity while regularly providing input for continuous improvement of planning processes.
Critical to the role will be the requirement to set up operational work orders for success by proactively planning support and training, preparing background information, collaboratively planning internal resources and communicating the plan to Area Managers and Supervisors.
Location: Perth Airport, Anderson Place
Roster: 5/2 9.5hrs (Permanent Full-Time) *flexible roster options provided for the successful candidate.
To be successful the following is required:
- Experience scheduling and planning people & resources for equipment maintenance in the mining industry.
- Basic understanding of Mining Equipment, Manufacturers and accepted industry safety standards with experience in a similar role within a Caterpillar Dealer preferred.
- Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Project)
- Advanced communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
