Job description

Immediate start available. 

The position is four days per week - Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm (30 - 32 hours per week. Casual or part-time - preference can be discussed).  The office closes on all public holidays and est. 2 weeks over the Christmas period.

Who we are!

We are a family-owned Pest Control & Carpet Cleaning Company operating for 8+ years. We provide Pest Control, Termite Management & Carpet Cleaning services all over the Gold Coast and beyond. 

We are seeking a, long term, Administration Officer to join our petite and friendly office space in Southport! 

Experience in the Pest Control Industry or Trade scheduling is preferred. Administration experience of 5 + years. 

Extensive computer literacy, the ability to multi-task, demonstrate initiative and remain organised is  must for this fast-paced environment! 

What the job includes!           

  • Managing multiple telephone enquiries and responding to emails. 
  • Scheduling appointments and managing logistics for 3 - 4 technicians.
  • Scheduling and prioritising work orders 
  • Preparing outgoing correspondence, using Microsoft Word and Outlook. 
  • Conducting reminder and follow up phone calls.
  • Entering incoming invoices (into Xero), EFT payments and cash handling.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance, customer information and required follow up services.   
  • Review and dispatch inspection reports. 
  • Provide general administration assistance ie. ad-hoc administration duties, filing, scanning & data entry etc. 
  • Opening and closing the office, most days.

  • Self-management skills, organised and ability to multi-task.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Professional written & verbal communication skills.
  • Be a team player & able to work autonomously.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Computer literate and have an extensive knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience in pest control and/or trade scheduling along with knowledge of the Gold Coast suburbs & layout is highly favourable.
