Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager - Full Time
We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive client/sales growth for our Building Consultancy Division. The role can be based anywhere in Australia.
Primary Purpose of the role
- Client facing responsibilities including regular interaction to discuss client needs, operational challenges and opportunities, strategic partnership initiatives, innovative solutions, growth and expansion plans
- Collaborate in the development and execution of the Division's Sales Strategy
- Develop new sales opportunities for the division as well as performing an account management role for existing clients
- Managing Client Relationships: Engaging directly with the Client on all matters ranging from day to day operational issues to high level/strategic matters
- Tender preparation and presentations.
- Facilitating Client training
- Collaborate in product and services design
- Assist in the development of marketing strategy including identification of marketing channels, communications and design of marketing collateral
- Support sales inquiries and client instructions
- Manage Complaints, support facilitating resolutions to complaints, communicate compliments to Leadership team
Are you the ideal Candidate ?
- 5 years Client Relationship or Business Development management
- 3 years Insurance industry experience
- Sound knowledge of the insurance industry (claims lifecycle) including the legislative framework, applicable codes and products.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of BRS Services/Products.
- Ability to understand client markets through research including but not limited to Strata, Government, Facility Management, Asset/Building Management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Conflict resolution and/or mediation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
