Our client is an innovative leading provider of Agricultural Solutions which cater for livestock across Australia. They have a strong ongoing focus on customer solutions / service, employee development and well-being. Currently they are looking for a BDM in Victoria.
The Opportunity

• Develop and implement strategies to identify and target potential customers in the agricultural industry, specifically farms and feedlot suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities for growth
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer needs
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and offerings for clients
• Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals
• Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing to clients
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities

You

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the agricultural industry
• Demonstrated success in sales and Business Development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
