About the role

This position is a unique and exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to service and grow the Wholesale & High Net Worth customer channel.

You'll be responsible for driving affiliate fund manager sales as per the National Service Strategy. You'll work autonomously to drive strategic sales activity across your allocated accounts and affiliate fund managers.

You'll also be responsible for,

  • Being an expert representative of the underlying boutique fund managers - working closely for market representation
  • Highly engaged account and relationship management with clients
  • Presenting to advisers via meetings and seminars
  • Having a collaborative approach and mentoring less experienced members of the team
  • Ensuring leads for other Boutique/Challenger product sales are appropriately referred and working with the relevant Life State Sales Managers to ensure there is an effective cross referral system operating
  • Increase funds under management of the Fidante Partners suite of products
  • Raise Seed and Cornerstone investments for new boutiques across wholesale clients
  • Represent the Fidante Partners brand in a professional manner with new and existing clients.
  • Manage and contribute to National Account Strategies

The Skills & Experience we need.

Fidante are seeking a team player with a demonstrated track record in sales directly related to the High Net Worth (HNW) market with at least 8 years' experience in the Funds Management Industry, in a sales / distribution role.

You'll have a strong network of existing client contacts across the HNW market including Private Banks and Private Wealth Management providers.

As well as:

  • Proven track record of success in building and managing distribution networks and exceeding sales targets. 3-5 yrs +
  • Strong investment knowledge across Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives.
  • Strong experience in identifying, pursuing and creating sales opportunities, as well as developing long-term sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills both face to face and virtual.
  • RG146 compliant (essential)

Highly advantageous to hold a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications preferred i.e. CFA (preferred) - CIMA (preferred)
