NATUROPATH - FULL TIME
Oborne Health Supplies is a leading distributor of Natural Health Care products, providing high-quality Natural, Traditional and Complementary Medicines to health professionals, pharmacies and health stores Australia-wide, as well as providing ongoing professional education and technical support. We have warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
The Position
We seek an exceptional Naturopath for the full-time position of Business Development Manager to cover the western suburbs of Melbourne, western regional Victoria and South Australia. Travel to SA is required a maximum of 4 times per annum. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of outstanding sales skills and exceptional technical knowledge in herbal medicine and nutrition. They will be responsible for educating Naturopaths, GP's, Chiropractors and other practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Driving sales, fortifying and developing business relationships and meeting established revenue targets.
- Managing and monitoring key accounts to ensure customer expectations and service standards are met and to identify and maximise sales opportunities.
- Developing strong relationships and partnerships within our practitioner and retail sectors.
- Liaising with different departments across the business to ensure all customer enquiries are answered promptly and accurately.
- Profitable growth and tracking sales performance in line with budget and sales objectives.
- Regular travel and nights away from home are required for seminars, functions and country trips.
- Territory Business Planning: Manage a territory strategically to ensure maximum growth.
- Attending seminars, trade expos and supplier events as an Oborne representative (may include evenings and weekends).
Skills and Experience
- Excellent naturopathic technical knowledge.
- Demonstrates excellence in relationship development and maintenance.
- Is computer literate and has experience with Microsoft Office and Apple products.
- Has exceptional customer service skills; the ability to service the existing client base and to confidently develop new business within your territory.
- Demonstrates excellent personal presentation and integrity.
- Shows excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrates experience in Sales/Territory Management or Account Management with proven success in sales.
- Is able and willing to travel regularly - this is an inherent role requirement.
- Is self–motivated with an ability to work autonomously, whilst contributing to the overall team dynamic.
- Shows exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Is vibrant, approachable and mature-minded.
- Holds a valid Australian driver's licence.
Qualifications and Experience
Naturopathic Qualifications including Nutrition and Herbal Medicine and with at least 5 years experience in the natural healthcare industry.
