The Role
The National Golf Club is looking to engage a Full TimeChef de Partie to join our friendly and dedicated team. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Head Chefs, working along with our highly motived kitchen team, making a positive contribution to the Club.
The role requires flexibility to work evenings as well as weekends.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare specific food items and meal component at your station
Follow directions provided by the head chefs
Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service
Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
Keeping your area in the kitchen safe and sanitary
Stocktaking and ordering supplies for your station
Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning equipment.
Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required
About You
The successful candidate will have the following skills and background:
Trade qualified with a solid understanding of food safety standards and personal presentation.
Experience in A la Carte, events and high volume kitchens
Knowledge and interest in produce and current food trends
Able to work well under pressure
Working rights in Australia
The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills, display initiative, and act with professionalism at all times.
What we offer
This is a Full Time role which will require you to work at our Cape Schanck site.
Competitive salary - $65,000 – $75,000 per year
