We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Service/Project Manager to join our growing team based in Knoxfield, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. Working in a collaborative and team-based environment, and reporting to the Managing Director, the Contracts Administrator will assist with administering electrical, voice and data projects delivered by our established installation team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitate and manage the administration of contracts across multiple projects
- Report and forecast expenditure trends and cash flow requirements of projects
- Provide resource scheduling, support and contractual assistance to the project management team
- Manage Construction Schedule updates and liaise with site management to provide weekly progress reporting
- Assist in preparing, submitting, and managing, negotiating contract variations and the issuing of purchase orders to vendors/suppliers
- Prepare and administer contractual correspondence, notices, variations, and delay to key stakeholders
- Ensure database and register are maintained accurately
- Subcontractor financial management including payment schedules and variation assessment
- Provide general administrative support to the project team as required
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experiences:
- 3 plus years’ experience in Contract Administration preferably within the construction industry
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellent in contract administration and project management
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills within a fast pace environment
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Team player
- CAD experience a benefit but not mandatory
