Join us in a pivotal role where you'll drive our second-line Business Resilience function, along with offering crucial secretariat services to our esteemed Crisis Management Team.
As the EM, Resilience, you'll evaluate and execute Suncorp APRA's CPS 230 Operational Risk Management framework, focusing on enhancing Operational Resilience and fortifying Critical Operations. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of ensuring our organization's robustness and continuity in the face of challenges.
What you'll do
- Promote and drive a culture that establishes Operational Resilience as a foundation for how we do business
- Assess and uplift Suncorp's approach to Business Continuity to meet the requirements of Operational Resilience under Suncorp's CPS 230 Operational Risk Management
- Play a leadership role in Suncorp's response to CPS 230 Operational Risk Management, specifically in relation to Operational Resilience, business continuity, and critical operations
- Develop and maintain fit for purpose Business Continuity, Recovery & Resilience Policy, Framework, Standard, and Toolsets
- Oversight the Group's implementation of the Business Continuity Management Policy, Framework, Standards, and BCM tools, and provide SME knowledge and advice to support the business
- Perform Crisis Management Team (CMT) Secretariat services to ensure high state of preparedness and effectiveness of this Board delegated Committee
What you'll bring
- 10+ years of relevant risk management experience, including at least several years specific to Business Continuity
- Demonstrated understanding of Business Continuity Management
- Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Recent experience working in CPS 230 Operational Risk Management
