Finance Assistant

Your New Role

Based in our Sydney Office, the primary responsibility of the Finance Assistant is to assist in the processing of all transactions on tour bookings sold by Gfob across Australia and New Zealand.

What will you be doing?

• Allocate monies received correctly and prepare daily reconciliations of receipts.
• Process refunds and ex-gratia payments.
• Prepare insurance letters.
• Review and clear all outstanding balances.
• Handle receipting and financial enquiries from internal and external customers.

What are we looking for?

• Studying towards or completed tertiary qualifications in accounting and finance.
• Previous experienced in a similar role, preferred though not essential.
• High-degree of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
• Ability to work to deadlines and maintain accuracy whilst working under pressure.
• Quick learner with a desire to learn and grow.
• Full working rights within Australia.
