About this opportunity
We are in search of a skilled and seasoned Marketing Manager to join our team and play a key role in propelling us to unprecedented heights.
We are seeking an innovative and enlightened person who can review, develop, and execute our marketing strategy whilst introducing their sparkle along the way. What will set this candidate apart is someone with a genuine interest in lighting technology and the ability to translate that passion into making our products POP!
The role can be either part-time or full-time for the right candidate and manages a full-time Graphic Designer.
The day to day
As a marketing professional you will have a diverse range of marketing experience and will be able to demonstrate and oversee the following:
- Providing generalist Marketing advice to the Executive Team and working with other key stakeholders.
- Researching the market environment, competition, and performing market analysis.
- Creating business documents; content creation and publication.
- Effectively communicating directives to outsourced creatives.
- Compiling and maintaining contact lists and building relationships with prospective clients to identify potential opportunities.
- Creation and proofing of content and all communications for posts, media releases, blogs and website.
- Managing social media engagement via Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Responding to analysis and reporting on campaigns and Google Analytics from our external provider.
- Oversee the development of email marketing, monthly newsletters and product updates as required.

What it takes to be amazing in this role
- A tertiary graduate in marketing, communications, or a related discipline
- An extremely confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Someone who carefully reviews everything ten times before posting
- A strong and experienced project manager and team player
- A capable user of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign and Photoshop
- Ability to learn and understand technical lighting knowledge
- Meticulous attention to detail within a fast-paced and agile environment.
- A curious nature and desire to innovate
- A strong work ethic and proactive approach
