The Australian business, based in Condell Park, has significant market share in the retail sector, partnering closely with all major retailers on Private Label and exclusive brand offerings. With a national manufacturing footprint and deep technical knowledge and expertise, the business is well positioned to continue its exciting growth trajectory and is now seeking a National Business Manager to lead the continued development of its Private Label business.
About the Role
In this newly created position, reporting into the Retail Sales Director and managing a team of 1-2 account managers, you will be responsible for growing Refresco’s Private Label and exclusive brands business by executing product, price and distribution strategies aligned to category and customer needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving growth in the Private Label and exclusive brands channel, achieving agreed volume and profit targets.
- Building and enhancing customer relationships, solidifying Refresco’s reputation as trusted partners by consistently surpassing customer expectations.
- Negotiating mutually beneficial commercial outcomes for Refresco and your customers.
- Collaborating closely with manufacturing and planning functions to ensure timely and complete fulfilment of customer needs.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to achieve commercial objectives while fostering their professional growth.
About You
You will be an experienced account manager from FMCG, ideally with previous experience in developing Private Label offerings.
With plenty of career runway ahead of you, you are looking for a role which allows you to step up and, over time, take real ownership of a channel.
- Experience in managing major customers, with a solid understanding of Private Label operations.
- Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities.
- Proven track record of building strong, mutually beneficial customer relationships.
- Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing internally and externally at all levels.
