The Role
We are searching for a New Business Development Representative to join the team at Dorset Australia to expand the market presence in the kitchen cabinet construction and manufacturing industry.  The primary focus of this role will be acquiring new customers, re-energising existing customers and maintaining strong relationships to drive business growth. 

This role will be based in Melbourne and will cover VIC and TAS. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Identifying key opportunities in the market and proactively engaging to drive long term business partnerships in the kitchen cabinet construction and manufacturing sector
• You will work towards handing over new customers to the Internal Sales Team for ongoing housekeeping and day to day problem solving and management
• Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand their needs
• Assist customers with product inquiries, providing valuable insights and advice
• Keep detailed CRM records of customer interactions and transactions
• Engage in negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with new customers

• Prior experienced in a Business Development Manager role
• Natural ability for building and sustaining relationships

• Excellent Stakeholder and relationship management skills
• Strong focus on achieving targets and driven by results

Desirable:

• Background in kitchen cabinet manufacturing or relevant industry experience is advantageous
