Duties and responsibilities
Assist in the conduct of both corporate and personal insolvency matters through the provision of administrative support while overseeing the operations of the office. Your role within our business will include:
- Accounts pay/rec and reconciliations.
- Compile Timesheet reports.
- Processes Statutory lodgements with ATO / ASIC / AFSA
- Monitor reporting obligation deadlines
- Bank reconciliations
- Electronic Filing & archiving of paper records.
- Office supplies and equipment.
- Creation of new client files using a practice management system (Insol6) (Training will be provided to candidates without Insol6 exposure)
- Assist with updating and maintaining system templates and electronic checklists
- Management of ad-hoc outbound correspondence for marketing events / newsletters
- Facilitate and organise infrequent client events
Skills And Experience
Required
Previous administration experience within a corporate or accounting setting
- Excellent organisation, timekeeping and prioritisation skills
- Strong written and spoken communication skills gained within an internal client-facing environment, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated high level of discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters
- Easily adapts to new systems and technologies
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel and Word), including the ability to merge documents in Word
- Exposure to accounting concepts (especially insolvency matters) would be advantageous
Desirable
- Exposure to accounting concepts (especially insolvency matters) would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Insol6 or a similar practice management system
