Tintern Grammar seeks to appoint an experienced PA, who will provide effective high-level administrative support to the School. The successful applicant will report to the Vice Principal.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced PA or high-level Administrator with outstanding organisational and communication skills, and a strong work ethic. You must possess excellent ICT skills including MS Office and database management. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, your quality of work is supreme. This is an autonomous role with numerous opportunities to add value.
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to manage and prioritise your workload within a busy environment.
About the Role
As a key member of our School, working directly with the Vice Principal and Director of Professional Learning, you have the opportunity to provide a strong level of customer service and administrative support to the Tintern Grammar community. This role is challenging, interesting and instrumental in ensuring the smooth and effective flow of daily activities for the Vice Principal. This role is for a professional who is passionate about working within a School environment alongside distinguished colleagues. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in the extensive learning program of the School.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated on the job experience
- Experience in Microsoft office forms, surveys
- Demonstrated event management
- A warm and welcoming professional manner as the first point of contact for the Vice Principal’s Office
- A post-secondary study in business administration or related area and/or comparable on the job experience
- Evidence of implementing effective standards of improvement
- A strong work ethic and high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high standards of quality work
- Effective organisational and planning skills
- Highly developed computer skills and literacy, particularly with MS Office and database management systems
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation
- A desire to work collaboratively and as part of the School community
- Strong alignment with the school values and vision
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with Synergetic database or a similar software
- Experience working in the Learning and Development education area
