Our client, a well-established family-owned business in the concrete construction industry is seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role will be office based with some site visits.
Duties include:
- Booking concrete and steel projects
- Programming of activities
- Site labour management
- Implement safety and ensure OH&S procedures are followed
- Be able to complete up front planning and methodologies
- Reading plans and marking them for site team
- Preparing progress claims
- Managing variations in a cost-effective manner and ensure they are passed on to client
- Managing project risk
- Site set-up
- Reviewing purchase invoices
- Contractual resolution management
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Estimating experience highly desirable
- Engineering background an advantage but not essential
- Experience with construction project software would be desirable.
- Builder's license or similar relevant qualifications an advantage
- White card essential
- Organisation skills
- Strong leadership qualities and positive attitude

Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm
Salary: $80K – $90K (depending on experience)
